b. 6 June 1970

Jonathan David Bauer was born and raised in New York. He began drawing at an early age and has been exhibiting his work since 1995, having participated in group and solo exhibitions in New York, Copenhagen and Ribe. In 2001, Mr. Bauer moved to Seville, Spain in order to paint full time. He found his way to Copenhagen where he shared space, painted, discussed themes and exhibited with a group of 16 artists known as Påkant. Jonathan currently resides in Ribe, Denmark with his wife and three children.
